We did not get to many Ch shows during his puppy career but ended with a handful of class wins and placings, the highlights of which were BEST PUPPY IN BREED at East of England under Margaret McDonald Cross, BEST PUPPY DOG at Blackpool under Gill Greenway, and BEST PUPPY DOG at National Working & Pastoral Breeds under Fiona Godwin.
Brodie started his Junior career with wins at Welsh KC under Tony Watson, Trent BC from Mandy Laidlaw, Midland Counties judge Joe Smith, and the highlight was under Paul Russell at the British Boxer Club where he was Shortlisted to the last 4 for the CC at only 13 months of age.
He continued his run of good form with a win at South Western Boxer Club under Lynette Davey.
Brodie started the 2015 season in fine style by winning Yearling at the Midland Boxer Club Ch show under Italian judge Fabricio Censi, and followed that up with a stunning win at CRUFTS, under breed specialist judge Linda Carnaby.
Soon after, I gave up exhibiting due to some major upheaval at home. We moved house, had the builders in for 5 months, and with no dog sitter I was forced to take a sabbatical. I brought him back out at Southern Counties under German judge Tony Piasentin where he won a star studded open dog class beating many Champions, but he didn’t enjoy the show ring. I consider Brodie to be the best dog I’ve ever bred, and 2nd only to High Command in my list of winners, but he didn’t really like the show scene. He is a much happier dog at home and my dog’s happiness is the paramount consideration so I retired him.
He remains At Stud to approved bitches. Sired by the famous World Champion Twinkle Star Von Eurozone, who is such a Top producing dog, even gaining a Sire of Merit title in the US, and that is not an easy accolade to gain. Brodie has a grade 0 heart score and with a 0.0% breeding co-efficient, I feel he could be very useful to discerning breeders.
