Seacrest Bijou D' Inde

Bea was a result of the mating between the two Pash kids, CH HUTTONVALE HIGH COMMAND AT SEACREST and JENROY JODAMI AT SEACREST. Daz had been withdrawn from public stud due to being graded a two under the heart scheme for Aortic Stenosis, but with Bruce Cattanach’s recommendation, I mated him to one of my grade 0 bitches to enable me to breed on from such a special dog.

Bea was a stunning puppy and came out with a bang in 1997. She was a regular Ch show winner and gained five Best Puppy In Breed awards. At East Of England and the Welsh KC, she was shortlisted to the Last four for the CC, and at Three Counties she was awarded the Reserve CC. All this by the tender age of 11 months.

Unfortuately one of Bea’s favourite pastimes was playing with stones, the bigger the better. At just over a year old she managed to loose two teeth.

She went on to become one of my best producing bitches. When mated to CH SEACREST DANOLI AT CARMONDENE, she produced Seacrest Kayf Tara, the dam of Ch Sleipnir Olaf The Stout, and his litter sister Ch Sleipnir Viking Goddess.. From her second litter to Ch Jenroy Edge of Darkness, I kept a near solid brindle bitch Seacrest Manna D’Argent, who I subsequently mated to the exciting Jacinto D’Jandilla. This produced the most stunning puppy, Seacrest The Expatriate, who sadly hated the ring with a passion, thankfully I also kept a solid bitch to breed on with. Bea’s final litter was by Ch Designer Game At Glenauld, and I kept a male SEACREST PILSUDSKI. Bea retired to live out her days along with her mum Jodami and Hello Dolly Glenfall, in 10 acres in the south of France, when my close friends moved there.
